Baldwin came and took and early 3 - 0 lead earlier in the first period before Columbus put one on the board, the scoring would go back and fourth for the remainder fo the game and and Baldwin would came away with an 11 - 3 victory and the title of being D3 National Champions. League Playoff Format

All teams will make the playoffs.  The playoff format will be the same as last year.  The semi-final games and the championship games will be a best of three series.  All other rounds will be a single elimination round.  The Varsity 1 division will be split into two divisions of 5 teams and 5 teams for the playoffs.  The Varsity 2 division will also be divided into two divisions of 8 teams and 8 teams for the playoffs.  Also, we combined JV 1 and 2 for the season and will split into two divisions for the playoffs at 4 teams and 4 teams.  These divisions were split due to the large number of teams in the division and to create more even competition moving into the playoffs.

“If a team plays a partial year within a division, their point total will be prorated up to a 16 game season

Island Sports Center Locker rooms

Please read carefully

Please pass this along to all of the PIRHL teams about the use of the
new locker rooms in the Pagoda and ask them to inform all of they
players, coaches and other involved members.
There will be days when we have two locker rooms available for the
Gardens rink and days when we have four locker rooms available for
inline use.
In order to make it all work in an organized matter I first need to have
the PIRHL schedule so I can assign and post locker room assignments.
If you we have four locker rooms:
The teams will need to come to the front desk and sign out a locker room
key for the room that is assigned to them. An adult will need to sign
out the key, which includes signing that they are responsible to keep
the room clean and vandal free.  They must leave their car keys as
collateral.
They are responsible to make sure the room is clean and locked when they
are done. While they are on the court they should lock up the locker
room.  After the game they return the key to the front desk and pick up
their car keys if every one is out of the room, the room is locked and
left in good condition.  They may have to wait until we check the room
to verify its condition.
If we have two locker rooms available for the Gardens:
The two locker rooms will be unlocked. They will be rooms P2 & P3.
Teams will share these locker room. They go in and get dressed. They put
all their personal items not going on the bench with them in two of the
four lock benches and lock the boxes with two locks they bring from
home.  All locks and personal items must be removed after the game or
they will be removed and discarded.
While they are on the court a team from the next game will come in,
change, and put their personal belongings in two of the other unlocked
boxes.  They will then go on the court and the original teams will come
in after their game, change and take their locks with them.
Please note that we are still finishing up the locker rooms so they can
be used as described above.  Until the remaining locker rooms get
finished, when we are using two locker rooms for the Gardens please
advise all the teams to take their items to the benches if they are
concerned about theft or damage.  We are not now, nor will we be
responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged items left in the locker
rooms or on the premise.
